• I worked without stopping all day and didn’t realize it was six o’clock.

Conversation Prompts For Full ASL Conversations Without Any Voicing

• Introduce yourselves and exchange pleasantries
• Tell about yourself and ask the other person questions about themselves: married, age, children, work/school where, middle name, birthday, favorite movie, future goals, what they wanted to be when they were a child, favorite Starbucks drink, time they usually go to bed, favorite song, recite John 3:16 or Genesis 1:1, siblings, plans for summer, etc.
• Thank each other and exchange parting greetings

This week I asked that my ASL 2 students start working on the song that they will do for the end of this class. The song is called "Clear the Stage" by Jimmy Needham. I think this is a great song that talks about how worship is more than just a time during a church service when we sing. I love the powerful message of this song and am excited to see how each of you translate it out so that it is just as impactful in ASL as it is in English.
